What is #BOOKBOX?
#BOOKBOX is a three-month library book box subscription. When you sign up for the service you will receive two library Young Adult (YA) books picked specifically for YOU along with some fun mystery gifts all packaged together for you to check out each month. While you must return the library books and the subscription box, the special mystery gifts are yours to keep.

Who can sign up for #BOOKBOX?
While #BOOKBOX is a subscription service for Young Adult books that typically target a teen audience, both adults and teens may sign up for #BOOKBOX. Just know that all the books that are selected for the #BOOKBOX will be YA books.

How do you sign up for #BOOKBOX?
Sign up is simple! All you need to do to sign up is to  submit a #BOOKBOX Interview.

What is a #BOOKBOX Interview?
The #BOOKBOX interview is a questionnaire that lets the Teen Librarian know where you would like to pick up your #BOOKBOX. It also lets them know about your interest and reading tastes. This way when they pick out books for you, they make sure to find ones you are interested in. Also, it helps them decide on your special mystery surprises. The more information you give them, the better your #BOOKBOX experience will be.

Do you have to have a library card from the Orange County Library system to sign up?
Yes, you will need a library card to pick up your #BOOKBOX.  If you would like to apply for a library card, you can fill out the application online here or at any library location in person.

What are the mystery gifts?
Mystery gifts can be anything: squishes, bracelets, craft kits, bookmarks, candy, and more.    Remember, the more information you give in the #BOOKBOX interview, the more personalized the Teen Librarians can make your mystery gifts.
