Join us at the Main Library for an informative and timely program on how to get the best from the upcoming Solar Eclipse

Each of the first 50 attendees will receive 2 pairs of solar eclipse viewing glasses provided through a grant from StarNet.

Interested in learning more about the rare Solar Eclipse occurring in the United States on April 8^th?  Larry Saunders and Teddy Oakey, trained NASA Partner Solar Eclipse Ambassadors, educate attendees about this special astronomical event.  Included in the presentation will be information with details what a solar eclipse is, how often do they occur, a historical perspective, some interesting facts about solar eclipses and what is so special about the solar eclipse this year. There will be information about how and where to observe safely and optimally.

Program is free and open to the public.
