The Gordonsville Friends of the Library presents Author Talk by Dr. M. Ernest Marshall “How the U.S. prepared for war with Japan during the inter-war years (1919-1941) and the Navy’s lighter-than-air program.” Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Gordonsville Public Library 319 N. Main St. Gordonsville, VA. Dr. M. Ernest Marshall graduated from the University of Virginia College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Medicine. He is a retired Professor of Medicine who devotes his time to historical research and writing. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife Lisa. Images of the covers of two authors’ books: Rear Admiral Herbet V. Wiley: A career in airships and battleships and Dar Away Places: Rear Admiral Charles emery Rosendahl and the Navy’s Airship Program.
