The Virginia Department of health (VDH) is providing free COVID rapid antigen tests to be distributed by public libraries including Orange County Public Library.

If you are symptomatic, send someone else to get the test kit for you.
Pickup of tests is via curbside service only and is limited to 4 per adult. Tests provided are for individuals not businesses or agencies. Supply is limited and not guaranteed.
Free COVID tests can be mailed directly to you by visiting https://www.covid.gov/tests
Same day reservations may be made by phone, but any tests not picked up by close of business will be made available to others. You may contact us at the following numbers: Main Library in Orange (540) 672-3811, Wilderness Branch in Locust Grove (540) 661-5434, Gordonsville Branch (540) 832-0712. Visit the library’s website at https://www.ocplva.org for operating and holiday hours. We will not reserve tests based on voicemail messages.
Have a plan to use the test kits before expiration. Currently stocked kits expire in Oct. 22 (Main) and Feb. 23 (Wilderness and Gordonsville)

This program uses iHealth and Flowflex tests.
Both the ACON Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test and the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test are authorized by the FDA.

The FDA issued a safety communication warning against the use of a different ACON Flowflex COVID-19 test, which is called the ACON Biotech Flowflex SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Self-Testing) in blue packaging. The ACON Biotech Flowflex SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Self-Testing) has not been authorized or approved for use by the FDA. The FDA is concerned about the risk of false results when using this unauthorized test. Can I take my test at the library?
We discourage testing inside the library because it could expose others to COVID-19 or biohazardous materials.
