Overdrive for Teens – Access your favorite eBooks and audiobooks. Be sure to login when using OVERDRIVE in order to see content that has been reserved exclusively for OCPL card holders as well as shared consortium titles.

 

Ebsco eBooks for High School This package contains more than 10,000 e-books that support a quality learning experience across all academic subject areas, including history, language, literature, science and technology. Content includes a selection of classic literary works, important historical documents and general reference materials. The collection also features a selection of teacher resources to support educators and administrators. Titles align with Common Core Curriculum Standards (for participating U.S. states).

Ebsco History eBooks Collection for Students This collection features more than 17,000 world history e-books to meet the content needs of students in their research. Titles encompass a variety of subjects, including medieval history, history of music, history of science, law in history, history of philosophy, art history, history of technology, history of business and economics, history of religion, military history and more.

 

Ebsco Explora is an easy to use tool to assist with research and classroom assignments.  It includes reliable information on thousands of topics covering a wide range of subjects including arts and music, literature, language arts, geography, history, social studies, world cultures and languages, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, health and sports. Explora also has tools to make it easy to cite your source.  It even has text-to-speech for those who learn better by hearing than reading.

 

RBdigital is a free software for patrons to download e-audiobooks and ebooks directly to their iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, or Nook devices. Resources can also be downloaded onto a patron’s computer in order to transfer them to mobile devices. Patrons must create an account using their own library card from a subscribed library before downloading.  RB Digital also includes digital downloads of popular magazines.  Magazines can be downloaded onto a patron’s computer and even read offline using mobile apps for IOS and Android devices.
